As the usage of webinars has exploded (our partner&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.on24.com\/blog\/6-steps-to-integrating-on24-webinar-emails-with-netline\/\">ON24<\/a>&nbsp;reported a 333% increase in their own platform engagement in April 2020), so has the demand for more advanced features.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Users of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/portal.netline.com\/\">NetLine Portal<\/a>&nbsp;are used to being able to funnel their leads from their NetLine accounts directly into the CRMs of choice. Now you can take those same leads and send them directly into your next Zoom webinar \u2014 an excellent way to boost attendance and simplify your registration process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Connecting the NetLine Portal to Zoom via Zapier<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sounds really complicated, right? Verify That Your Zoom Webinar Has Been Setup Properly<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Double-check that everything is as you\u2019d like it to be within your Zoom platform.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom3.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3545\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Use a Zapier Webhook to Connect to the NetLine Portal<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A webhook is a tool that allows you to securely send data (usually via post) which is then caught by a \u201chook\u201d which then allows you to pass this data to another 3rd-party system.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this case, we\u2019ll be selecting&nbsp;<strong>Catch Hook<\/strong>&nbsp;and then clicking Continue.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom4-2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom4-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3555\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom5-2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom5-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3556\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>From there, copy the&nbsp;<strong>Custom Webhook URL&nbsp;<\/strong>and head back to the NetLine Portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom6-2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom6-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3557\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the<strong>&nbsp;Configure Settings<\/strong>&nbsp;section, paste your link in the appropriate URL field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom7-2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom7-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3558\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Test Your Trigger<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Remaining in the NetLine Portal, we\u2019ll now configure the fields you want to receive within the&nbsp;<strong>Standard Fields<\/strong>&nbsp;section.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019ve entered or removed the fields you\u2019d like populated\/eliminated, hit Submit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom9.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3551\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, we\u2019ll click&nbsp;<strong>Send Test<\/strong>&nbsp;under the Connector Type which will launch a new window with a bunch of test leads. If everything looks correct, hit Submit. This will trigger a group of test leads (however many you\u2019ve chosen) to send over to Zapier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019ve done this, return to Zapier and click&nbsp;<strong>Test Trigger<\/strong>. So long as everything is as it should be, Zapier will find this data and present it like so:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom8-2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom8-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3559\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Select one of the leads and click Continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Send Your Data to Zoom<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Under&nbsp;<strong>Choose App &amp; Event&nbsp;<\/strong>in Zapier, select Zoom.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, you\u2019ll want to&nbsp;<strong>Create a New Webinar Registrant<\/strong>; Zapier will now begin looking for Zoom accounts. Select your preferred Zoom account and subsequent webinar that you\u2019d like to funnel data into.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom11.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom11.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3553\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Using the same fields (I.e. First name, Last name, Phone, Email, Industry, etc.) you\u2019ve already sent over from the NetLine Portal, map the same fields into Zapier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Test The Data Being Sent to Zoom<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After entering all of your fields, Zapier will prompt you to test the data that\u2019s being sent to the webinar. Simply click&nbsp;<strong>Test &amp; Review<\/strong>&nbsp;and, so long as everything is connected properly, you should get a&nbsp;<strong>Test was successful!<\/strong>&nbsp;message.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom12.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.netline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/zoom12.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3554\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>From here, we\u2019ll go&nbsp;<strong>back to Zoom<\/strong>&nbsp;and under the&nbsp;<strong>Webinars&nbsp;<\/strong>button, select the webinar we\u2019re sending data to and scroll down to the bottom of the page.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the&nbsp;<strong>Manage Attendees&nbsp;<\/strong>segment, you should be able to see whether your number of registrants has changed from your original total before connecting the webhook.
