How NetLine Verifies Leads and Data Quality

How NetLine Verifies Leads and Data Quality

Which would you rather: thinking that your leads are sourced as advertised or knowing they’re as promised?

This is, of course, a rhetorical question.

Having the knowledge that the data you’re working from is clean, first party sourced, and voluntarily provided is a great benefit for our customers. Here’s why you can trust your leads.

How NetLine’s Data Processes Work for You

NetLine prides itself on delivering the highest-quality leads B2B marketers can find in the industry.

To assure our customers that what they’re receiving is quality data, here’s how we vet each lead.

Lead Verification

Our leads are primarily first-party data, where the end-user fills out a registration form to get the content. The form data is checked at different levels before a lead is considered good and sent to the client/through their connector.

Email

We do a syntax check and live-domain check on the email address as well as validation on entire email address to ensure deliverability. If we receive an undeliverable error the lead is rejected and not counted as good.

Phone

The phone # is checked for syntax, scrubbed against a “bad-phone-number” database which we maintain and randomly tele-verified to detect bad sources of leads.

Postal Address

The postal address is USPS verified. We also check IP addresses to ensure it matches against the country and any other relevant parameters.

Title/Company

The user’s title and company are randomly verified against LinkedIn.

Company Information

Address, Industry, Company Size: These fields are verified and corrected by matching against a Company Database which we maintain.

In addition, we run all leads through predictive fraud detection algorithms, which filter out junk and fraudulent leads.

Data Quality

NetLine’s Data Quality Plan validates a number of different areas of the data.

A few of these checks consist of the following:

  • Validation that zip code and state match.
  • IP address matches country.
  • Validates the area code for phone numbers.
  • A check to make sure the email domain is valid.
  • Tighter filters on job titles (such as students, educator, professor, owner, boss, etc.)

Of course, each lead you receive won’t be precisely on point. This is why we offer a 5% lead buffer to protect your campaign from any faulty accounts. If you have any further questions about NetLine’s data integrity processes, please contact your account manager and/or Client Services.
